What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
